Some hip hop greats and personalities spit their mind on hip hop great, Big L. Truly a master of hip hop that left us way too early. Watching this video made me think about a lot of these “artists” out here floating their half-ass “music” around just trying to get a buck by being label puppets. When they retire or when they die, do these sad excuses for musicians realize that they’re going to be remembered by the shitty music they made and not by their net worth? When the next generation of hip hop enthusiats go through their decade cycles and the ’00s come up, don’t artists want to be considered great visionaries and technicians of their time instead of examples of a twenty-first century minstrel show?
